Manual Machinist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at Nesco Resource in Delmont, PA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating Mills, Lathes, Surface Grinders and Drill Press to produce high quality parts according to specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operate machining equipment such as Mills, Lathes, Surface Grinders and Drill Press to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures and machine accessories as required.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist.
• Proficiency in programming, setting up, operations and troubleshooting of machining equipment.
• Knowledge of machining techniques, tools and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
