Maintenance Technician Job Description

Amerequip Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kiel, WI.

Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, systems, and components, including ovens, robots, lasers, conveyor systems, and paint equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand machine and equipment maintenance manuals for preventive maintenance, lubricant, and coolant specifications.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on paint booths and paint-related systems, waste water treatment plant, paint drying ovens, and other equipment.
  • Repair and maintain power/air tools, dispense chemicals for coolants and water systems, rebuild or replace pumps, and keep records of oils, coolants, and lubricants.
  • Use forklift when needed, inspect and repair lifting devices and safety-related equipment, troubleshoot problems, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Perform electrical work, hydraulics, plumbing/pipe installation and repair, and troubleshoot PLC issues.

Requirements:

  • Forklift license.
  • Read and write English.
  • Read and understand service manuals.
  • Basic blueprint reading.
  • Basic math.
  • Skilled in using measuring devices, hand, and power tools, multi-meters.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills.
