About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Springhill Home Health and Hospice. As a Hospice Aide/CNA, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the Case Manager
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities
Requirements
  • Meet the training requirements of the State
  • Completed a minimum of seventy-five hours of classroom and supervised practical training
  • Minimum of six months experience in providing personal care
  • At least eighteen years of age
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
  • Understands hospice philosophy and is comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
