Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct basic and advanced testing for donors and patients, interpreting results to assess compatibility.

2. Address compatibility issues and provide consultation services to hospitals and transfusion services.

3. Execute both automated and manual testing procedures on blood samples, adhering to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.

4. Offer guidance and support to volunteers, fostering their development and leadership skills.

5. Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures and applicable regulations.

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess an MT(ASCP) or BB(ASCP) certification, a bachelor's degree in biological science or chemistry, and relevant experience in blood banking or laboratory settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Reference Laboratory and SBB (ASCP) certification are advantageous.
