Job Title: Operations Director

Buddys Home Furnishing is seeking an experienced and skilled Operations Director to lead our individual branch locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Direct and coordinate store activities for safe, professional, and profitable operations.
  
• Acquire and maintain customers through effective sales and marketing strategies.
  
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local statutes.
  
• Maintain merchandise availability and manage inventory and cash assets.
  
• Implement sales and marketing programs to meet company standards.
  
• Manage and maintain company vehicles and assets.
  
• Prepare daily work schedules, assign tasks, and evaluate employee performance.
  
• Recruit, hire, and train associates for efficient operations.
  
• Provide a safe and clean environment for customers and associates.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, marketing, or management.
  
• Experience: Two years' experience in retail or other business emphasizing customer service, account management, or merchandising.

Physical Requirements:

• 
  
• Lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise 50-300 pounds.
  
• Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching, and grabbing as required.
  
• Traversing multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronics.
  
• Prolonged driving and standing.
  
• Ability to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions.
