Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Preschool Teacher to join our team at Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District. As a Substitute Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans and activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in preschool-age children.
  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages active learning and exploration.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive community.
  • Adhere to all school district policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure compliance and quality education.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 48 college credit hours or an associate's degree or higher.
  • Or, a Silver certification on the ACT WorkKeys test.
