Tact Staff is actively seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Long Term Care for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

As a travel nurse, you will have the chance to work in various long-term care units, providing essential support and care to residents. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience in a similar setting, and certifications such as BLS and IV Certification are highly preferred.

In this position, you will float among multiple units, ensuring that all residents receive the highest standard of care. The patient mix includes long-term care, sub-acute rehabilitation, and psychiatric care, necessitating skills in assessment, clinical documentation, and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and document clinical findings.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents.
  • Collaborate with a team of C.N.A.s, LVNs, and Nurse Managers for optimal patient care.

Patient Care: The typical patient ratio is 1:15+, which may vary based on unit assignments. Familiarity with charting systems such as Matrix Care and Omnicell is beneficial.
