- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Job Details:
The role involves working in a cardiac observation unit with a current patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5, aiming for 1:4. All travel nurses are expected to adapt and float as necessary within the unit's acuity levels.
Requirements:
- Active Virginia nursing license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Strong cardiac skills are essential
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Additional Information:
- Travelers are required to work during two of the three major winter holidays.
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
- Candidates residing within a 100-mile radius of the facility are classified as local and are not eligible for this position.
