Seasonal Sales Associate

Kate Spade New York is a global life and style house with a rich history of creating optimistic and feminine products. As a Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process inbound deliveries in a timely manner, prioritizing daily workload.
  • Ensure proper organization and accessibility of merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Be knowledgeable of stock levels, including quantity and sales performance.
  • Support floor moves and maintain a stocked selling floor throughout the day.
  • Conduct price changes and markdowns as necessary, ensuring accurate pricing and inventory management.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and organization standards on the selling floor, in the stockroom, and offsite.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail industry, preferably as a stock associate.
  • High school degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be available to work store schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to load boxes in and out of delivery trucks (offsite/warehouse only).
  • Must be able to work effectively under pressure in a high-energy and high-traffic environment.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • On a frequent basis, requires the ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
