Position Overview

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Preferred: 1 or more years of experience in a clinical patient environment
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is advantageous
  • Possession of a valid state license

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth
  • Generate high-quality radiographs to aid in diagnosing medical conditions or injuries
  • Inform patients about the imaging procedures
  • Establish and maintain accurate patient electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Provide patients with copies of their images upon request
  • Ensure that images are stored in the PACS system
  • Conduct quantity and quality control checks to ensure compliance with legal and departmental standards for X-ray units
  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on radiographic equipment
  • Safeguard patients and staff from radiation exposure
  • Manage and replenish radiographic supplies as needed
