Texas Health Resources, a leading healthcare provider in Texas, is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its neurosurgery, spine, and trauma team in Plano, TX. This role offers a chance to work with a highly trained team of surgeons who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the neurosurgeon and orthopedic spine surgeons in the operating room, conducting pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments, managing patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and providing education and counseling to patients and their families.

  • Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care to patients.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the surgical team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. A minimum of 2 years of experience in neurosurgery, spine, and trauma care is preferred, but not required.

**Requirements**

  • Certification as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
