Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the HVAC Contract Maintenance program at Fort Knox. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of contract requirements, including the management of HVAC maintenance services, compliance with performance standards, and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management:
    • Oversee and manage the HVAC Service Program, including HVAC DMO's (Demand Maintenance Orders) and Preventative Maintenance at Fort Knox.
    • Ensure all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements are met on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.
    • Prepare and submit proposals to the Government for Post Work Orders (PWO's).
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters with the Mission Installation Contraction Command (MICC) at Fort Knox.
  • Project Leadership:
    • Be designated in writing as the Project Manager to the Contracting Officer, with the authority to contractually bind the contractor.
    • Manage day-to-day operations, working closely with the Department of Public Works (DPW) to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Monitor and control project scope, budget, and schedule to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the key liaison between the contractor and the MICC, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including Government representatives, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and contract specifications.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, including progress, risks, and any corrective actions taken.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
Work Environment

This position may require work in various environments, including on-site at Fort Knox, in office settings, and at contractor or subcontractor locations.

Good customer service and the ability to track trends to resolve tenant work orders. Troubleshooting and analytical skillset highly needed for this opportunity.

Work hours 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
