Job Summary
The Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to fill temporary teaching positions in various locations. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the teacher of record in their absence, including organizing and delivering instruction, monitoring student progress, and maintaining records.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction to students in the absence of the teacher of record
- Monitor and evaluate student progress
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Enforce Board policies, regulations, and rules
- Supervise students and secure school property and materials
Requirements
- Kentucky Emergency Substitute Teacher Certification
- Minimum of semester college credit hours from an accredited college
- 2.0 GPA or higher
- Experience working with school-age children

- Experience working in a school setting
