Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service).

Job Responsibilities

The ICU nurse will care for seriously and critically ill patients, providing physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support. They will be responsible for:

  • Incorporating appropriate assessments and intervention skills in all interactions and delivery of nursing care
  • Communicating with patients, team members, and management in an accurate and timely manner
  • Documenting in a complete and timely manner, using computer charting and ordering systems
  • Applying critical thinking skills and considering alternatives
  • Organizing and prioritizing tasks to manage multiple patient assignments
  • Developing and maintaining human care relationships
  • Acknowledging the impact illness and hospitalization have on patients and families, adapting care management for diverse populations and environments, advocating for the needs of clients, and providing care in an ethical and legal manner
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • BLS certification; dysrhythmia training prior to ACLS
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • CPI certification within 3 months of start of employment
  • Registered Nurse licensure in New Hampshire or Compact License when applicable
  • Associates Degree as Registered Nurse required, BSN preferred
  • One year of nursing experience preferred
