We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist Trainee to join our team at RadNet.

About the Role

As a Mammography Technologist Trainee, you will be responsible for completing a comprehensive training program in mammography, including digital mammography and Tomosynthesis. You will also be required to pass the California State Mammography Licensing Exam and obtain a current California State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included.
  • Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis.
  • Pass the California State Mammography Licensing Exam.
  • Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • A current California State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
  • BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
  • The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
  • Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on-the-fly should an emergent situation arise.
