Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at JACAM. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Safely operate forklifts and other power equipment to complete various tasks and projects assigned.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure inbound and outbound products are accurate and free of damage.
  • Material Handling: Efficiently move products from storage to other locations in the warehouse, as well as loading and unloading trucks.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain plant facilities, tools, and other items used in the performance of the employee's duties.
  • Environmental Compliance: Follow the appropriate Hazmat clean-up and disposal procedures and immediately report all spills to supervisor.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all warehouse loads for the day are complete regardless of the hours of operation.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and/or two to four years related experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience operating a forklift and forklift certification required.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, customer service skills, and physical abilities to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a chemical manufacturing environment inside and outside of metal buildings, with the ability to work in temperature extremes and lift and carry 100 pounds. Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery, and safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats must be worn at all times.
