Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse in our Ambulatory Care setting, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing exceptional nursing care in a patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver professional nursing services in an outpatient context.
  • Conduct thorough health evaluations, perform nursing assessments, and establish individualized care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per protocols.
  • Initiate emergency response measures, including CPR.
  • Communicate any abnormal findings to the physician or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP).
  • Assist in specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, utilizing advanced patient care equipment.
  • Develop, assess, and document health education tailored for patients and their families.
  • Support various nursing roles within the department as needed.
  • Travel regionally to assist in physician clinics and surgical procedures when required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • At least one year of recent nursing experience.
  • Consideration for LPN, Medical Assistant, or other clinical experience may be given for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers transitioning into this RN role.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience in ambulatory care and familiarity with Epic systems.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform a full range of motion and manual dexterity.
  • Corrected hearing and vision within normal limits.
  • Potential exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
  • Light Work: Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.

Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Adhere to Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as necessary.
