Job Title: Travel Echo Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiogram Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Travel Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to diagnose and monitor patients with heart conditions.

Job Summary:
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures to diagnose and monitor patients with heart conditions.
  • Operate and maintain echocardiogram equipment, including ultrasound machines and related accessories.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent.
  • Conduct echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures, including 2D and 3D echocardiography, Doppler echocardiography, and stress echocardiography.
  • Analyze echocardiogram images and reports to identify abnormalities and make recommendations for further testing or treatment.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely information about echocardiogram results and recommendations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an Echocardiogram Technologist or related field.
  • Current certification in echocardiography (RDCS or RVT) or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Strong knowledge of echocardiogram procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
