Job Summary

The CDL A Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer and transporting goods to various locations. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor trailer to transport goods to various locations
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Review and complete paperwork for each delivery, including checking orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate with customers and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • CDL A license
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to push/pull approximately 3000 lbs. pallets using manual or electric pallet jacks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions

The CDL A Truck Driver will work in a variety of environments, including warehouses, distribution centers, and on the road. The driver will be exposed to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold, and/or wet, damp, or drafty conditions. The driver will also be required to work in areas with exposure to a shaking object or surface that causes a strain on the body or extremities.
