Role Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist is responsible for conducting diagnostic invasive procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role includes scrubbing in and assisting the Cardiologist as needed, responding to patient emergencies, and managing equipment quality control and inventory.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in Special Procedure and/or Cath Lab
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS Certification: Must hold a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from recognized organizations

Additional Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent experience
  • Experience: No experience required if a CV Tech graduate; otherwise, at least two years of recent CV Tech experience
  • Licensure/Certification: RCIS Certification required
  • BLS Certification: Required with appropriate designation
  • ACLS: Required
