About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax audit support and representation to clients, ensuring they are prepared for any tax-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and provide ongoing training and education to clients on tax-related matters.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency in tax software and technology, with a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
