Position Overview

Salary: $15-17 Per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities or unique needs.
  • Aid in essential daily living tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Execute and adhere to individualized care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Encourage participation in social and recreational activities to enhance quality of life.
  • Advocate for the rights and preferences of residents, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of care services and individual progress.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including social workers, therapists, and healthcare providers.
  • Assist individuals with cognitive impairments in memory care activities.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is preferred.
  • Understanding of senior care, memory care, or autism spectrum support is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with care plans and medical terminology is beneficial.
  • Ability to uphold HIPAA regulations to protect sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated compassion, patience, and understanding in interactions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected Work Hours: 40 hours per week
