Physician Specialist

Job Summary:
Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Physician to provide medical services as a Fee Basis Provider (FBP). The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting medical histories, physical examinations, and reviewing medical tests and documents related to consultations and medical histories.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical histories and physical examinations
- Review medical tests and documents related to consultations and medical histories
- Assess applicant medical documentation and render medical opinions
- Provide medical services as a Fee Basis Provider (FBP)
Qualifications:
- Must be a Physician (MD/DO) with a current, unrestricted license from any of the 50 U.S. States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
- Must have completed a residency or provided direct patient care within the last three years
- Must possess a minimum of one year of post-graduate training accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Certification from the American Heart Association
- Must have a medical school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA)
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this job include sitting, talking, and hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
