Radiologic Imaging Specialist

At Philip Health Services, we are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and operating diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment, including x-ray and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images.
- Position patients on examining tables and adjust equipment to obtain optimal views of specific body areas.
- Process radiographs using computed or digital radiography methods.
- Perform EKGs on patients and transmit studies for interpretation.
- Prepare and set up exam rooms for patients.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Radiologic Sciences preferred.
- One year of CT experience preferred.
- Post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
- Certification and registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ability to work towards obtaining certification.
- Certified and up to date in Basic Life Support.
- Must be available to work on call, when needed, to ensure 24-hour coverage of the department.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure 24-hour coverage of the department.
- Confidentiality must be maintained in working with medical and patient information.
- Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Prolonged periods of standing or walking are required.
- Finger Dexterity and Repetitive Motion: Typing/keying comprises a significant amount of work function for this position, substantial movements of the wrists, hands, or fingers.
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal range to observe and communicate with patients and professional staff.
