Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care, developing nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
  • Communicate changes in patient clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing.
  • 1 year ICU experience in an acute hospital setting required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with New Jersey Board of Nursing or RN Multistate License from the NCL required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) required.
