About the Job

The Fraud Detection Specialist will be responsible for conducting investigations into potential cases of fraud, analyzing financial data, and communicating with team members and external agencies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential cases of fraud
  • Analyze financial data to identify patterns and trends indicative of fraudulent activity
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external agencies
  • Present findings and proposals to leadership/management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of four years' experience in fraud investigation and interviewing
  • Professional certification (e.g. CFE) preferred
  • Knowledge of financial institution policies and practices
  • Experience with electronic investigations
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • High ethical standards and demonstrated integrity
