Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Store Lead. This role is responsible for directing and guiding members of management and hourly associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs and guides members of management and hourly associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques.
  • Ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  • Builds relationships with associates to ensure proper feedback and answers questions or provides information to customers and associates.
  • Drives and ensures the financial performance of the facility by confirming that budgeted sales, wages, and other expenses are achieved.
  • Participates in community outreach programs and encourages and supports associates in serving as good members of the community.
  • Directs facility operations by setting the standard for appropriate service levels and teaching and developing effective merchandise presentation.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for members of management and hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring associates.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs and developing and communicating business plans and priorities.
Requirements
  • 1 year's general management experience to include financial accountability.
  • 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's experience supervising 10 associates/employees; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's experience supervising 10 associates/employees.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 20 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), Sales Volume Category (SVC), and Complex Structure.
