Axion Recruitment is collaborating with a well-established machinery manufacturing firm located in St. Louis, MO. They are in search of a Maintenance Technician to contribute to their operations during the standard workweek of Monday to Friday (7:00am-3:30pm), offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $30 to $42, contingent upon experience.

The ideal candidate will possess significant expertise and skill in executing routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment. This role entails diagnosing and rectifying any mechanical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Identify and resolve any malfunctions or breakdowns
  • Execute preventative maintenance as required
  • Assist in formulating maintenance strategies
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance tasks
  • Adhere to all safety regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Demonstrate proficiency with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLCs

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Capability to work independently
  • Able to lift and transport heavy items
