Job Summary:

IMERZA is seeking a talented Senior Environment Artist to join our studio in a senior/leadership role, leveraging their significant industry experience and artistic versatility to a variety of projects. You will help set the direction for projects, contribute to production, and help oversee studio image/video quality. You will be responsible for collaborating with the entire art team to push the look and feel of our projects to help take our projects to the next level of photorealism. We work on some of the most prestigious projects in the world, therefore only the most talented applicants will be considered. You MUST love what you do

Responsibilities:
  • Environment Art. (3D Modeling, Asset Creation, Set Dressing, Advanced Materials, Lighting)
  • Pioneer new asset creation techniques for environment assets.
  • Propose pipeline and technology improvements to Art and Core Pipeline.
  • Post-Production.
  • Assist in optimizing performance on projects.
  • Help oversee studio image quality & consistency.
  • Help lead team in creating work that consistently impresses our clients.
  • Keeps up with current technologies used in and by various game engines.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge in Unreal Engine environment art.
  • Expert proficiency in 3D workflow areas like modeling, texturing, lighting & rendering.
  • Knowledge of advanced content creation pipelines.
  • Experience with Oculus Rift/Quest and other VR Platforms.
  • Experience in Substance Designer/Painter, Houdini, and procedural content creation.
  • A basic understanding of Python and photography is a plus.
Experience Plus:
  • Past experience working in CG for AEC or Enterprise related industries.
  • Worked with GIS data and/or BIM data.
  • Significant Houdini experience.
