Job Title: Senior Data Test Engineer

Job Summary:
Ampcus is seeking a Senior Data Test Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing test data scripts based on ETL mapping artifacts and other technical documentation. You will also be responsible for execution and detailed analysis of test data scripts, defining and tracking quality assurance metrics, and documenting all problems and assisting in their resolution.

Responsibilities:
Develop test data scripts based on ETL mapping artifacts and other technical documentation.
Execution and detailed analysis of test data scripts.
Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status.
Documents all problems and assists in their resolution.

Requirements:
7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in testing backend applications primarily involving complex SQL queries.
At least 7 years of experience in testing Big Data and Enterprise Data warehouse, writing and executing complex queries in SQL, analyzing ETL mapping (STTM) documents, writing and executing ETL scripts and Stored Procedures, and development of SQL scripts based on ETL mapping and database documents to validate data inputs and compare data outputs.
Experience in using tools such as Informatica (PowerCenter), integration testing - Services, ETL, Database (SQL/Oracle) covering DML Validations, Batch Monitoring, Cloud databases (AWS /Redshift)/Relational databases, and experience testing mission critical Financial Applications.
Advanced level of expertise in Database testing (data cleansing, transforming, mapping, data validation) with excellent PL/SQL skills.
Ability to create and execute test plans, strategies, and test cases for applications that use ETL components.
Experience planning, writing, executing tests as well as preparing test strategies.
Experience in using testing tools such as ALM and JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge on how to use Tidal and Postman is a plus.
