Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to provide support to our clients in White Sands, New Mexico.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and other specified tools. Your expertise in server, desktop, and software planning and support, imaging services, release management, password management, and IT training will be invaluable to our organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical direction and training for support personnel performing technical operations within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Installing, integrating, and maintaining various system servers and workstations such as Windows Server 2012r2-2019 and Windows 10 OS.
• Executing policies and standards related to IT systems and network security and protocols.
• Providing comprehensive solutions for managing desktops, workstations, servers, printers, bridges, routers, etc.
• Providing networking assistance to users, including help with network connections and passwords.

In order to be successful in this role, you will require:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of relative experience performing virtual machine server (VM) administration, server operating system knowledge, automation via scripting tools, advanced Active Directory administration, Group Policy administration, file share administration, STIG/IAVAS and POA&M process, vulnerability assessment, backup and restore process, and COTS software/hardware administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field; relevant and equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.

With your skills and experience, you will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure management and be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
