We are seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at SITE Staffing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring multiple pieces of packaging equipment to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
Key Responsibilities- Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation.
- Operate and monitor multiple pieces of packaging equipment during operation.
- Ability to work in a moderate to fast-paced, high-speed environment.
- Follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Housekeeping and sanitation are essential in this role.
- Working knowledge of packaging equipment or similar equipment is required.
- Understanding of production procedures and environment is necessary.
- Ability to read specifications and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to work a 3rd shift schedule (9pm-5:30am).
- Pay rate: $17.50-$25 per hour (based on experience) + $3 per hour shift premium.
