Safety and Security Officer

Safety and Security Officer
plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our guests, their families, and all visitors to our lodge.
Regardless of the circumstances, our security team is expertly trained to respond effectively, ensuring that all guests can enjoy a secure and enjoyable environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Uphold the security and safety of the hotel, guests, team members, and their belongings through vigilant monitoring of the hotel premises.
- Complete various security-related assignments as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel grounds.
- Respond promptly to any situations requiring attention.
- Assist management in addressing incidents within the hotel and provide thorough documentation of events.
- Adhere to all Occupational Health & Safety regulations established by the hotel.
- Maintain a professional and polished appearance that fosters confidence and trust.
- Stay composed and act professionally during high-pressure or emotionally charged situations.
- Deliver exceptional guest service in every interaction with resort visitors.
- Manage risks effectively and utilize contingency plans to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Navigate conflicting viewpoints without bias, ensuring decisions are fair and impartial.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in managing extensive closed-circuit television systems; comfortable operating and monitoring activities on-site using CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in law enforcement.
- Training as a first responder.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Capability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
