About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Third Street Family Health Service. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during various treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays (if certified), providing accurate diagnostic images.
  • Educate patients on proper oral healthcare, promoting healthy habits and preventing disease.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience.
  • X-ray certification, required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
