Job Summary

Favorite Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinician - MSW to join our team in a residential shelter setting. As a key member of our team, you will provide individual and group counseling sessions, crisis management, and behavioral interventions to unaccompanied children and youth residing in our 24-hour shelter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions using Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) interventions such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
  • Develop and implement behavioral plans to address the unique needs of each child.
  • Provide crisis management and support to children and youth in a residential setting.
  • Collaborate with shelter staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and behavioral interventions.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • 2 years of clinical experience working with children or youth, with a minimum of 1 year in a residential setting.
  • Licensed in the relevant field of study or license eligible in the state of Michigan.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (highly preferred).
