Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Speech Therapist at Ambercare, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Administer diagnostic assessments and provide recommendations for communication devices and aids
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide education and support
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Mexico
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of principles and practices of speech therapy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
