Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic unit at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking skills to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and promote a culture of safety and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or issues.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in orthopedic nursing.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting teamwork and a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nurse program.
  • Current Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Texas or an Active Multi-State RN Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • Minimum of six months of clinical experience as a licensed RN in the specialty area of hire.
  • Approved for and maintains requirements of the MHS Nursing Clinical Excellence Program RN level IV to include BSN or national certification.
