Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Cost Analyst with CPA credentials to join a renowned global tire manufacturing firm. This organization boasts over 75 years of industry experience and operates in more than 100 countries worldwide. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial analysis and cost management.

Key Requirements:

Fluency in both English and Japanese is essential, along with CPA certification and prior experience in a manufacturing environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Become the primary authority on CADIOS, our internal financial software.
  • Analyze material transactions and investigate monthly discrepancies within CADIOS.
  • Collaborate with teams in Japan to optimize the use of CADIOS for managing production costs.
  • Oversee the Fixed Asset inventory process.
  • Assist various departments in evaluating ROI on new initiatives and confirming outcomes post-implementation.
  • Engage actively in the annual budget planning process, focusing on labor and other associated costs.

Leadership Expectations:

Demonstrate exemplary leadership in fulfilling all responsibilities associated with this role.

Qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 6 years in cost accounting and cost management is required. Proficiency in both Japanese and English is mandatory. Experience with SAP S4 HANA is preferred. CPA certification is a must.
