We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Product Development team at Clean Crop Technologies, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and testing critical subsystems integral to our prototype and production equipment builds.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and integration of mechanical subassemblies, including material handling, thermal management, plasma treatment, and process control systems.
- Manage mechanical aspects of internal and external builds, ensuring all facilities meet company protocols for worker safety and quality control.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support Operations and Business Development departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve product development processes.
- Support the development of equipment BOMs and procurements, vendor relationships, and achieving key deliverables.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent expertise.
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including demonstration of project lead capabilities and/or supervisory experience.
- Solid product development principles and experience in the 0-1 product development space.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DFX, FMEA, and quality systems.
- Demonstrated leadership in the design, manufacturing, and testing of complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated fluency in CAD/CAM software (Inventor, Fusion 360, or Solidworks preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to design mechanical components that meet required specifications.
- Demonstrated ability communicating critical data to peers and leadership from a variety of professional backgrounds.
