Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and monitor the activities of direct support staff to ensure quality care and treatment.
- Perform administrative and programming duties, including supervising and evaluating direct care staff.
- Ensure the efficient delivery of care, training, and support activities on the unit.
- Attend meetings, serve on committees, and perform other specific tasks as directed by the Unit Director or Administrative Assistant.
- Ensure the home is maintained as a safe and sanitary living environment for individuals.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to make decisions and use good judgment when dealing with critical incidents.
- Ability to react quickly and calmly in an emergency.
- Ability to demonstrate proper body mechanics, good posture, and proper lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of individual care techniques and of treatment, therapy, and developmental programs.
- Knowledge of Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) standards.
