We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Service Associate to join our team at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic. As an Environmental Service Associate, you will play a critical role in promoting sanitary conditions and preventing the spread of infection and odors.
Key Responsibilities- Sanitation and Cleaning: Demonstrates knowledge of department policies and procedures, and efficiently uses cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment, and tools to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintains equipment, tools, and storage areas in clean, orderly, and good operating condition, respecting Hospital and Company property.
- Emergency Response: Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, and other situations that require prompt attention.
- Teamwork and Communication: Accepts suggestions and direction from supervisors and Hospital staff, and exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalency (preferred)
