  • Document patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities.
  • Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their rights are upheld.
  • Assist in training and supporting team members to enhance patient care delivery.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Possession of a Temporary Graduate Nurse permit or Registered Nurse license in Texas prior to employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification to be obtained within six months, as applicable.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Availability for night and weekend shifts is necessary.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Work Environment:

The position primarily operates in a climate-controlled setting with occasional exposure to various conditions. Employees are expected to demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties while adhering to safety and quality standards.
