Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Hopkinsville Family Medical LLC. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication under the direction of a physician
  • Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is being followed
  • Conduct Mantoux testing and complete blood draws as needed
  • Make appointments for clients to see physicians and provide lab work and referrals for additional follow-up care
  • Assist in training staff in medical and health and safety matters, as well as maintaining medical equipment
  • Provide training for staff development specific to healthcare needs, such as CPR and First Aid
  • Purchase and order medical supplies
  • Educate clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification, as well as side effects and lab results
  • Educate pregnant patients about prenatal care and assist primary counselors in coordinating outside services as needed
