Overview

Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Neurohospitalist to join our team at Emory St. Joseph's Hospital. As a key member of our Neurohospitalist Team, you will play a vital role in the evaluation and treatment of patients with neurological disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with neurological disorders
  • Document patient care in medical records
  • Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems
  • Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician
  • Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
  • Order, schedule, and/or perform laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • At least one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty
  • BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required
Benefits

Emory Healthcare offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a student loan repayment benefit, paid parental leave, and a supportive work environment.
