At PRIDE Health, we are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing position in the ICU - Intensive Care Unit at a leading healthcare facility in Edmonds, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Critical Care Nurse with a strong background in ICU care to provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the ICU, prioritizing the needs of critically ill patients and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of critical care principles, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and medication administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
