Job Summary:

We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform routine maintenance and repairs on our apartment community. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the indoor and outdoor areas of the community, including painting, carpentry, drywall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and other maintenance activities.
  • Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance activities throughout the commons areas of the property, including sweeping and mopping all tile surfaces, polishing all floor space, window cleaning, and vacuuming carpeted areas.
  • Clean restrooms, including disinfecting toilets, sinks, floors, and restocking rest room supplies as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning when apartments turnover.
  • Remove trash and dispose of in all designated areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are safely and properly stored in appropriate areas.
  • Perform snow removal and emergency on-call duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years prior apartment or home repair maintenance skills, such as drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, cleaning; HVAC experience helpful or will train.
  • Minimum High School diploma/GED required.
  • Some computer skills helpful for timekeeping, emails, online training modules, and work order processing or willing to train.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills to interact with internal and external customers.
