Job Title: RN Long Term Acute Care Specialist

Amergis is seeking an experienced RN to work in a Long Term Acute Care setting in Wilmington, DE.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled RN to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with medically complex patients and be able to provide individualized care to meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care to medically complex patients
  • Supervise care, treatment, and services of the patient(s)
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnosis, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times with patients, medical staff, and co-workers
  • Provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic patient environment
Requirements:
  • Current RN license for the state in which the nurse practices
  • One (1) year nursing experience in a long-term acute care facility preferred
  • Experience in acute rehabilitation for vents, wound care, cardiac, and stable post-trauma patients
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
