We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operator to join our team at INX International Ink. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality printing ink and ensuring the efficient operation of our mill machines.
Key Responsibilities- Mill Machine Operation: Run batches of ink at proper mill settings, ensuring optimal quality and efficiency.
- Packaging and Labeling: Package finished product in various containers and apply labels accurately.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean and maintain machines to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) standards, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Quality Control: Act as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data to ensure quality standards are met.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Complete scheduled maintenance and utilize troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve production goals and improve processes.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 3 months of related work experience, preferably in the ink industry.
- Skills: Good math and basic computer skills, attention to detail, reliability, flexibility, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Preferred Qualifications: Forklift experience, mixing, mill, and pump filter industry background, and previous experience in the ink industry.
