Job Summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist Regional Lead to support, coach, and develop high-quality Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSPs) who serve as Special Education liaisons on their assigned campuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Develop LSSPs: Provide coaching and guidance to LSSPs to ensure they are meeting organizational and departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with Special Education Team: Work closely with Special Education team members, campus leaders, teachers, students, and families to close the achievement gap for students.
  • Model Optimal Collaboration: Establish and foster relationships with Special Education team members and campus leaders to promote a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Lead Professional Development: Design and deliver high-quality professional development opportunities for LSSPs based on regional team needs.
  • Manage LSSP Interns: Supervise up to 2 LSSP interns and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Psychology: A master's degree in psychology from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Valid Texas License: A valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology granted by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a School Psychologist is required.
