Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at Little Bipsy. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the overall appearance of the sales floor. This role involves engaging with customers, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with product selection, providing knowledgeable advice and recommendations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and brand to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
  • Maintain the appearance of the sales floor, including restocking, organizing displays, and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and store objectives.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
  • Participate in merchandising and visual displays to enhance the store's appearance.
  • Follow all safety and operational procedures to ensure a safe shopping environment.
Keyholder Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and securely.
  • Handle cash management tasks, including cash drawers, petty cash, and bank deposits.
  • Act as the first point of contact for any security issues or emergencies during assigned shifts.
  • Support the store manager in daily operations and assume leadership responsibilities in their absence.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in retail or inventory management is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills for inventory counts and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes of merchandise (up to 50 lbs).
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
